Trying out a new exercise can be a little nerve-racking. Am I doing this right? Is my knee supposed to be hurting? Ugh, I hope no one is watching me struggle right now. Lucky for you, we’re here to help. Watch to see the correct way to do lunges if you want to add them to your fitness routine.

Tip 1: If you’re leaning too far forward, your knees will naturally wobble back and forth and you’ll end up making things way harder than they need to be. Instead, focus on keeping your back straight and in line with your hips.

Tip 2: Don’t let your knees drift inward or go past your big toe. Your legs should make 90-degree angles before you push back up to center. Now you’re ready to crush it at the gym with confidence.
